Customer Survey Responses-Sneak Peak

CUSTOMER SURVEY QUESTIONS - Sneak Peak

In January we sent our customers an invite to participate in our customer survey.  We'll be sharing the answers to ALL the common questions our customers asked us in our next newsletter--here's a sneak peak of the top 3 questions we received:

Why are SoftSeal Masks priced higher than other N95 masks?

Answer:

Medical Grade Silicone is an expensive raw material.  The Silicone in the SoftSeal mask costs more than all the other materials added together.

Why isn't shipping free when ordering a SoftSeal Mask?

Answer:

Shipping costs have risen considerably over the past year.  Even so, in response to our customers concern, we lowered free shipping to a $60.00 minimum order from the previous $80.00.  We also lowered the shipping charge below $60.00 to 9.95 from $12.00 and added a $5.95 shipping charge tier on orders over $20.00.

Why do you have a valve on some of your masks when many places don’t allow a valve?

Answer:

We retailed masks in big box retail outlets before the COVID pandemic.  It is much more comfortable for people who wear masks for extended periods of time to have an exhalation valve.  The valve removes moisture buildup behind the mask and lowers the work of breathing while wearing a mask.  The CDC has reversed its opinion about valves on masks.  It now says valves on a N95 mask is ok.  For individuals who want to wear a mask for protection and have lung issues find it impossible to wear a sealed N95 mask for any period because of the increase in the work of breathing.  Their only option to be protected with an N95 mask is to have a mask with an exhalation valve.
