Most companies provide the “one size fits most” N95 masks for their employees, but unfortunately not everyone fits into that category.

There are some masks that I can stretch to fit over my nose and my chin but those don’t have a very good seal to begin with, and literally almost none will seal when forced to fit my face. When I am forced to stretch a mask, I literally cannot even open my mouth, or it completely pulls it out of place as well.

I understand there are some jobs more physically demanding than being a paramedic but imagine trying to carry someone out of a house or perform CPR for 20+ minutes and not be able to talk or breathe through your nose.
